Source – Entry #694 in Paxton’s Marshall Family
(written circa. 1885)
(written circa. 1885)
Sallie Hughes Marshall, b. at “Walnut Grove,” near Washington, Ky., November 24, 1858, June 17, 1885, Edmond Wilkes, Jr. Sallie is tall, handsome, lively and accomplished. She has been the life and soul of the family. But as of the 17th of June, 1885, as I write, she kneels at the altar of Hymen, garlanded in myrtle and orange-blossoms, a willing victim to Cupid. I pray that their journey may be through Beulah’s land, and may end in the New Jerusalem.
Since Sallie Hughes Marshall lived so long after Paxton publish the Marshall Family, there is significant info missing.

Some of the information comes from Ancestery.com
Sallie Hughes Marshall was born on November 24, 1858, in Mason, Kentucky, to Phoebe Ann Paxton, age 41, and Charles Alexander Marshall, age 49.
